Meet the queen of the KI testing facilities. In this laboratory, the mechanical and physical properties of construction materials are tested, ensuring the reliability of structures such as bridges, concrete reinforcements, or residential buildings. You will also frequently encounter AZL activities as doctoral students during your practice.

Stories of our students
Our students’ satisfaction is not just theory
Doctoral studies allowed me to work independently on my own research: from choosing the dissertation topic, through designing and carrying out experiments, to publishing and presenting results. All these key milestones are intensively consulted with field experts. After my studies, I plan to stay in academia and continue scientific research. I would also like to verify to what extent the acquired knowledge can be transferred to industrial practice.
Originally, after completing my master’s studies, I imagined I would finally focus solely on practice. After two years at the Klokner Institute, I can say that the study opportunities and the scope of the work I am involved in, and the projects I can participate in thanks to that, far exceed what I expected from practice. An excellent team and active connections with other universities and companies are an everyday reality.
The Klokner Institute allowed me to combine research with practice under the guidance of highly qualified experts and to participate in interesting projects. From doctoral studies, I expect that in the future they will bring me a deeper understanding of the field and provide a sufficiently erudite perspective when designing building structures in practice.
